@Louise_Driggers She’s lookin much more shiny now. 6hrs of tumbling does wonders but unfortunately, it did break her head and wings - I expected smaller bits but the four main pieces held up. I used E600 adhesive to piece it back together.
The medium used again, was just a handle full of brass Phillips screws. No sanding, detergent or other agents used. Though there was quite a bit of dust and fine particles, I made sure to handle with latex gloves and cleaned the parts over a vacuum fan.
This was printed in copperFill filament from ColorFabb using an Orion delta printer.
Interesting to note the body seemed completely hollow as though the infill had been removed. It’s possible the excessive tumbling shook the infill to dust.
Wow! That looks gorgeous. Out of curiosity, what infill did you print her at. Do you think an higher infill might have prevented breakage? (beyond the fact she has a delicate build).
It’s a lovely colour but it isn’t awfully coppery - more a yellow. Is that expected?
10% infill with 2 shells. She may very well benefit from a higher infill, this was a good first test so. I shall try a higher infill but perhaps with bronzeFill.
It does look rather golden in this lighting temperature- too much kelvin. I used brass screws as the medium - they look goldish yellow. She looks less saturated in person with noticeable copper tones.
The breakage may have been from the angle Aria was set in. She almost didn’t fit in the container.
