Low rent video (made with my still camera 640x480) of my TrashMaster 3000 penning a job I made with some clip art I found online that I processed with Inkscape, Qcad, then dxf2gcode. Don’t ask me, I’ll probably never figure out how I did it again.

You realize inkscape has a gcode tool? You should be running the newest release 0.91.
@Kyle_Kerr
yeah that is why the plugin doesn’t work here.
pfred1@buck:~$ inkscape --version
Inkscape 0.48.3.1 r9886 (Dec 29 2012)
The update is said to really be worth moving to. They have cut down on the memory footprint along with other nice bits.
@Kyle_Kerr
I thought about it. That’s about as far as it has gone as of yet. Right now my whole tool chain I have going on is rather unwieldy. So I will have to improve on matters some eventually.
EDIT: I just did a ldd which inkscape and there’s no way I am building that application on this system. Because
pfred1@buck:~$ ldd which inkscape | wc -l
100
linked to 100 libraries! Yeah there’s no way I’d meet all of those dependencies.
