Made a cheeky quadcopter frame with my shapeoko 2, if you look at the video you can see lots of swarf and rough edges, anyway i can make it cut better?

A dull end mill can cause the rough edges. Also, the best investment is a downcut end mill. You’ll have to be very mindful of clearing out the chips since they will be thrown into the cuts but they leave a very smooth finish on the top surface. Great video BTW.

@Matt_Kasdorf yeh I am planning on getting a quiet cut spindle as soon as possible, yeh I build an enclosure with some polycarb and scrap woood. works very well for noise reduction!

@SonicStrikeFPV yep :slight_smile: I based it on the old anycopter that was superseded by the electrohub, I am going to try and do an electrohub with some fiberglass pcb. Dust extraction will be an issue though…
