How do I know which one to use? Why are there different ones?
Not knowing where this spur gear is in the assembly, I’ll venture a guess that the different number of teeth affect the gear ratio. They likely give you more torque, or more speed.
Sorry about the naming of the parts I honestly don’t know most of them but learn as I go. The spur gear I’m referring to is supposed to be “pinion gear” I think. It’s the gear on the motor axle. You can change the gearing ratio by replacing it (and also the spur gear (on the center diff).
