Made this template for a friend at work to put a slot and recess into a surfboard for a fin holder. The router rides the inside of the template.

Can you share some technical details? Like feed rate, type of wood, used bit, etc etc, etc… and if you had some difficulties as well performing this, or if it just was made in the first attempt!.

I just used some scrap 5mm thick plywood using a 1/8" carbide bit. The speed was 500 mm/min & 0.5mm per pass. Not the fastest but i can leave it to run and play with the kids while its running.
