Building a Z axis for $30 isn’t that impressive. You’re still missing THE main component…the laser/galvo or DLP projector.

@ThantiK ​ yeah, that’s one thing that bothers me about the ‘kickstarter era’ of 3d printers. They tend to quote a constant base price and leave out an important high cost. I can sell you a printer for $200, but you’ll have to buy all the parts yourself.

yeah, that is NOT a $30 3d printer. That’s a $30 upgrade to a Projector that makes it a 3d printer.

$30 seems kind of expensive for this, to be perfectly honest…
