Oh, I would love to be able to wear something like OculasPrime (?) in a virtual hologram with a parts bin that I would pull out parts of models and assemble and run a script to verify all the parts work together. I don’t like the joy-stick idea, I’d rather have gloves and a Kinect that could sense at least three fingers per hand. But STL’s cannot be modified? I want to be able to grab sections of the mesh and push or pull on it to make the tweaks.

So really all you need is a 3d touch screen…

Am I missing something here? How is a two dimensional touch screen able to act in three directions (without a camera or some type of sensor)? And, how would it emulate my environment in an immersive way? I’m looking more for an engineering holo-deck on the cheap.

@Rojer_Wisner so get some 3d glasses on your PC and a glove.

 Some day. Lower priority at this time.
