Nice. I made something similar for a 1 meter printer and it made such a big difference.
What advantage does the mod offer?
The problem we noticed on the bearings we were using were that they were noisy and rough due to all the balls circulating. With a mod like this it was super quiet and smooth.
That sounds like a good advantage, particularly the smooth bit. If I understand, your mod was to use 6 bearings instead of 5. Why does this make a difference?
