Many moons ago I received help through here, with this help and the amazing things found through here I was finally able to achieve my vision. I am running fast led through a teensy 3.2 controlling over 1300leds in this mellohead. I really appreciate all the help received through here.

Brilliant!
Fantastic! Are all the leds in one string off the same pin? I reckon you could get a much better frame rate if you used the parallel output on the Teensy.
Looks great Ryan.
Thanks guys! As for the setup yes I am running it all through a single pin. This is my first project so I’m not to familiar with using parallel output.
@Ryan_Black Looks good! Are you using a 74HCT245 chip or the OctoWS board? I’m getting started on a large-scale LED project with Teensy’s Audio library and am curious how you hooked up the LEDs to the board to make them work so fluidly with FastLED–my board doesn’t play well with it at all.
I only have a teensy and a level converter (or whatever it’s called) all the leds are in series from bottom to top jumping a row in the back. Arduino mega wouldn’t run this setup with the xy map.
@Ryan_Black Cool, any chance you might be able to share how you hooked up the level converter? I’m having a bit of trouble with mine…
Ahhh cheers @marmil ! I missed that the OE pin was inverted. Thanks!
