@Matt_Mets Blinkinlabs’ latest blog post covers my project to get BlinkyTiles working with FastLED and Arduino-based boards (instead of their Lightbuddy controller, which is a bit more involved to reprogram and add patterns).
They also added a pack of 42 tiles to their shop for $55: https://blinkinlabs.myshopify.com/collections/frontpage/products/blinkytile-exp I know that seems pricey compared to other LED packages, but you can make some cool LED sculptures pretty easily with them.
