Meet the FB2020 Plus. 200x200x280 (ish) build volume. It’s still being worked on and is missing it’s diagonal braces as I derped on ordering the lengths. The total Z height is yet to be determined as this is a conversion of one of my Migbot Prusa i3’s and the leadscrew is too short. It’s currently jerry-rigged to lose about 20-30mm of Z height with 10mm Bed shims and the Z endstop lever being bent into a dog-leg. It’s currently at 260mm. Once I manage to get the Leadscrew, II’ll get the full Z height. Yes, 8mm smooth rods on the Z aren’t optimal, but I’m yet to re-design for 10mm.
I’ve gone for broke on only it’s 2nd print, It’s currently Printing Adalinda at 160% scale and about a 14-16ish hour print, I’ve had to slow it down as it’s got skipping problems at the moment. I need to pin down the acceleration and driver voltages. I’m probably going to swap the MKS Base it’s running at the moment, which has fixed A4988 drivers to the spare RAMPS with DRV8825’s on the XY. Fitting the braces should also help as I can see the frame twisting on sharp direction changes and infill. Still another FB2020 that’s alive and running…
