Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you!

Here are my most recent improvements to the Cerberus line of Deltabot 3D printers. I’m sporting two new printhead platform designs. One is for a single hotend, the other for triple, both incorporating cnc waterjet cut T-6061 aluminum alloy brackets. These are more suitable for use with running high temperature hotends. Both designs have built-in bed level probing capability and both are set up to use magnetic ball joints. The socket for the magnetic ball joints requires some pressure for the magball to be popped into the part now.
I also have a new T-6061 vertical carriage ‘shield’ design for the Cerberus Pup 170. This design has a universal mounting plate for the rods - which in these photos is set up for 3/8" magballs using 3/8" x 3/8" N42 neodymium magnets - but a traxxas or Igus rod end bracket can easily be added instead. Finally you can see that all of the main framework aluminum braces and plates are being waterjet cut now. That’s for the Pup 170, the Cerberus 250 and the large triple hotend Cerberus MEGA 400. This improves both the aesthetic and the accuracy of the assembled printer since the bolt holes are dead accurate. I’ll be adding all of these new parts to the http://3d.grabercars.com website in the coming week.
