Now that this community has a lot of members please consider asking who might want to be a co-admin of this group.
I was the chair of a huge US non-profit’s (AAUW) Social Media Committee and we stressed the importance of having at least 2 admins or more for each page or group to avoid problems if a solo admin is incapacitated for some reason. We decided on this strong advice after having several “orphaned Facebook groups” to try to close down after the solo admin quit the group and there was no one with the privilege to delete porn or spam posts and ban abusive members. It was not fun!
There were hundreds of Facebook pages and groups that my team consulted with and guided into using “best social media practices”.
