Mic 6 aluminum plate arrived 9x9 from online metal. But… One of the side doesn’t look like a cut and also a crack… Am definitely trying to get this one exchange…
That looks terrible. I wonder if the seller thought that a shear was a good way to cut it. It really should be saw cut. But I don’t understand why it cracked like that. Maybe cast behaves a bit differently.
The other 3 sides was saw cut except this one side which looks like the end side of an entire batch of cast. Anyway I contacted the seller and they agree it was unacceptable so a new one is on the way now.
@Jeff_DeMaagd Online Metals is Thyssen-Krupp, one of the largest metal distributors in the world. They definitely know what they are doing. It looks like he got a dodgy end cut.
