Milled some aluminum today for a project today. Used tinyg and @ChiliPeppr . Worked pretty good! @Synthetos
What endmill and speeds did you run the job with?
That looks awesome! I ran some milling on ChiliPeppr today with acrylic and it worked like a charm. Your aluminum looks great. What machine and spindle are you using? No heatsinks on the TinyG?
Some aluminum milling bit and ran it pretty slow 200mm/min or something like that. .45mm pass rate. My spindler is a Makita RT0701c.
Single flute?
@jlauer no this was a super quick setup. In fact my tinyg was not even mounted. Just grabbed one and hooked it up eheh. Its to the point where I just started the job then opened a cp connection with my tablet and went inside to monitor it.
Here is the part installed. https://www.flickr.com/photos/rileyporter/15241378952/
I had made it from laser cut acrylic but my motors ripped it apart! It was pretty funny.
That info is in my comment above.
