Looks like it picks the chain up and over the sprocket and back down again, is this correct?

@Marc_Schaefermeyer it is a rack and pinion driven off a 24v geared motor… It’s going to be moving a 2200mm*1500mm table along a 4800mm track

A 3d printed encoder mount on top of the motor and a http://cncdrive.com motor driver

@Jarkko_Hautakorpi lol not sure…the y axis is fixed hence the machine passes the table through it, there’s good reason for this method, the only downside is that what goes in one side has to come out the other…hence the size for the x axis 4800mm
