Hi, I’m interested in printing this out to try. What are the pros and cons of this replacing a regular wheel for a RC car?
Because I’ve been looking through articles and there are several disadvantages listed for the tweel such as vibrations, heat and noise especially at high speeds
ive printed this in ninjaflex, , but it has a few issues that can be easily fixed by just adjusting the model. i want to get my hands on the model to fix them or get the creator to fix them so i can use them. the knobby tire i printed took 20 hours
the honeycomb pattern needs to be just a little bit thicker, and the inner rim mounting area of the tire needs to be thicker as well, it starts to expand off the rim at high speeds
also can you modify the knobby version of it and remove the angled ramps on all the knobs? it really reduces traction, just leave them at square shaped knobs and its perfect, also add a paddle tire if you can
