Nice router! What were you using for a table before? Unfortunately if aluminum is out, most plastics are probably out also.

my last table was a cheap chipboard. It looks like a suisse cheese now and I have to replace it. I’ve tried MDF - it’s not hard enough. Plywood seems to be a good next choice, @Eric_Cha . I’ll give it a try. The new table should give me the possibility for twosided milling. I have to plan in registration marks/drillings somehow…
