Mr. Remoto! I'd say I hit my target size pretty good on this one.

Mr. Remoto! I’d say I hit my target size pretty good on this one. I won’t have to change the front panel dimensions at all to fit.

@1111115
thanks. Yes Mr. Remoto is a bit of word play on Mr. Roboto.

Couldn’t make it a smiley face? That looks like the face of a hillary supporter when asked to name one of her accomplishments…

@Mat_Helm
Mr. Remoto is no grinning fool.

I’d be curious to learn about any sort of standards or guidelines for control panel UI/layout? Button order, spacing, safety related issues, etc. Any recommendations of docs I could have a look at?

@marmil
it beats me. I just laid stuff out in the order I’m going to use it. The rocker switch switches on the power supply. Then the two push buttons turn the power supply output power on, and off. I used to do it all with just two switches. But I changed the one power switch to a latched relay arrangement with the push buttons. The original two switches were on different devices, and I had to reach around here, and there to actuate them. This control panel is a big step forward for me here.

Although the old craptacular way I was doing things did work.
