MRRF 2016
Big printers, Awesome people, Big fun. Every year MRRF gets better in new ways. Two years ago, when I found out about MRRF it was just a few days before the show, I had a ¾ finished printer I was working on and was eager to go and see new interesting stuff and meet some of the people I was talking to a bit on Google plus. Having never been to a Maker Faire or similar event so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But what I found was an awesome, welcoming community ready to answer questions and share ideas

Fast forward to two years later and MRRF is not only a destination for me and a large portion of my MakerSpace, RiverCityLabs.org, but it’s almost a homecoming every year, seeing friends from all over the globe that I interact with on such a regular basis through email and social networking. I’m sure like almost all of the community driven events I go to throughout the year now, I’ll be processing all of the interactions and conversations for days, But I wanted to post a big thank you to everyone that came and made the event what it is both during the day and after hours. Thanks especially to @J_O11 and the SeeMeCNC team for putting the event on.

It was so great seeing you again Joe, I agree MRFF is something I look forward to all year. The only downside is how long I have to wait for it to happen again now that it’s over. To everyone I saw again this year at the show and also everyone I met for the first time… thank you so much for making this the highlight of my year.

It amazes me to see how much the show grows every year and its global “influence” bringing people from around the world to Goshen, Indiana.

Yea the only town I’ve ever been in that has horse stables at walmart
