My attempt at a prototype integrated PC/CNC controller box for CNC machines is almost complete. Wiring is a little messy as I was designing as I went, and was often changing the parts locations. Once I am satisfied with the design I will make a custom cable harness (Well, have DirtyPCB’s make them for me now that they have a cable service) to make installation easier. I have made a temp back plate for the connectors, once I have my OB Minimill built I will cut a nice aluminum one.
I will definitely try out the cable design over at “Dirty PCB’s”, these services are new to me.
