Nice. Have you come across Tglase from Taulman? It comes in a several colours, is transparent and could be a nice material for the jewel in the centre.
I printed one with the jewel hollow using a translucent plastic. I then placed a piece of foil underneath for added twinkles. I’ll include a photo when I put the models up on Thingiverse.
