My custom X-Men X-,Jet printed on two Afinia H800 printers. 47 inches long… Work in progress…
Looks good, looks like it will hold some action figures too. Detailing the inside flight deck and cabin area should be fun. Let your imagination run with this one.
Hope you continue to post your progress. Looks like a fun project.
Honrable design grate
Thanks for the comments. This is for an upcoming toy show, so even if I don’t get time to do the outside, it’ll fun to bring along for display…
Looks great! Now just add some control surfaces, a couple of servos and 2 EDFs
Large enough to hold your X-men figurine collection in?
What a fun project. Great job on this!
@NathanielStenzel Sadly no. I collect 1:12 scale figures, and my jet is 1:18 scale, so I had to settle for just a 1:12 cockpit for my figures.
Bummer.
Very nice. Looking forward to seeing it fully assembled and painted.
wow is it handmade or 3D printed? doesn’t look like it has been printed on a 3d printer.
Afinia H800 printers are an expensive 3D printer.but you pay for quality printing.
@ibrahim_faqai Yes, 3d printed on the H800, which I have 2 now to speed up the process. There are some minor imperfections in some of the pieces that can be filled and sanded with apoxy sculpt, but for the most part for 38 pieces glued and bolted together it was a clean print.
Here’s another pic at the toy show…

Super awesome, any chance you will publish the STLs?
@Samer_Najia if you want to help pay for the modeling fees…lol
@Jeff_Tucker hey, if it’s worth it, why not Patreon or something similar. I, for one, would contribute some monthly amount
@Samer_Najia I looked into Patreon, and I like that idea. I’m going to launch a Patreon page on 1 June…
@Jeff_Tucker let us know. I am sure others are like me on here and would support your work.
