My Desktop CNC Shapeoko 2 build has started
If you have a 3D printer or you can later manage to 3D mill STL files, try these out.
@Grant_Macaulay A Head-up: I have the same stock spindle mount, and am un-happy with the fit with the 300 watt quiet spindle (verified as you requested) , as I mounted it last evening. Before I even turned it on, I noted that there was movement left to right and back, so I did not even try to cut with it. I am looking tonight to cut something with my mini-mill that will hold it more securely.
This looks great. Is the white aluminum block part of the kit?
nice jobes
Do you have access to a 3d printer? I have had my Shapeoko 2 and Rostock Max 2 for a out 4 months now and I have a few files I can send over to help you get the shapeoko up and running. You can shoot me an email at tech@713maker.com and I will shoot you the files.
Great. Yes I have access to one and soon have my own. Building the Ultimaker original from plans!!
Did you go with a TINYG controller or the standard GRBL shield?
All standard pack so far. So I believe it is a version of GRBL. Not sure which one yet as that part is still in the bubble wrap
@Dat_Chu
Yes the Alu block is cast and part of the kit.
