MY DIY-CNC project - a small update:
While waiting for the side plates for the gantry I have started planning the electronics.
Electronics:
4 x DM542A stepper drivers (2 x Y)
1 x 40V 400W linear power (made for CNC. Includes 5V and 12V, soft start, separate fuse for each motor output…)
4 x 1.9Nm 4.2A 8 wire dual shaft stepper motors
1 x Cohesion 3D ReMix + ethernet adapter + external stepper adapters + LCD
Now I have to wait for it to arrive 
- as a side project, I plan to test the 32Bit RADDS controller in this CNC setup as an alternative controller.
