My DIY Milling Machine project. Some progress with the electronics.
Im going to use seperate shielded cable for each stepper motor. For the end-stops.. Im going to use a 25Pin serial cable.

Next I have to add the End-stop wires + fan and emergency stop…

Very clean. Why is there a display?

@Marcus_Wolschon the controller is smoothieware based. I do not need the LCD. But when I have it I can move the axis and alter some parameters using the LCD / rotary encoder without a computer… - I’m not going to use it in normal operation.

What is plan for e-stop? Pull full power, just steep motors, and/or spindle. Always good to consider all situations.

Have decided that I’ll swap controller with the Pokeys57CNC. I think Cohesion3D Remix would work fine, but I have a couple of friends running Pokeys + Mach3/4. Pokeys have all the functionality I want + I can use the same software as my friends…
