Progress update: due to a bad design on my part i had to restart the print, i didnt notice it was starting mid air and was using to much supports. Cut off some of the bottom and started again.
Progress Update: Printer missed an odd step on the y axis, even though it was free to move around, sorta confused but there isn’t much else to do but restart the print.
Try lowering the speed a bit. That looks like a resonance prone part. And many print 2 simultaneously for better cooling. Cooling fan is a no no on abs.
@Markus_Granberg haha, funny you should say that. The first two prints i tried got messed up, then i turned off the cooling fan and it printed very well.
How does printing ABS on blue tape work for you? I’ve had bad luck with ABS on glass, but really good luck with PLA on blue tape. Tried, and ruined, kapton tape, but never tried ABS on blue tape. I’m almost out of PLA, so time to rethink ABS.
@Nate_T well i have the heated bed at 110 c but the tape works well
You should try PEI, just let it cool and it pops off easily
