My first try to print with 50 micron layerheigth. How can i improve the quality? Am i printing too hot? Too much flowrate? Too fast?
i’d like the print to be a bit cleaner.
ABS, 100°C bed, 235°C heater, 0,3mm nozzle, 40mm/s

How many did you print at one time? You might try printing two on opposite sides of the build surface to allow cooling time and such for each layer.
@Mark_Rehorst , thank you for the advise. I only changed the layerheight, i will try to recalibrate the printer for the new layerheight.
@John-Paul_Hopman i’ve printed 2 of the Moai at the same time. The second one didn’t turn out really good, because the overhang at the chin messed up.
what is your minimum layer time at the moment
50 micron (0,05mm)… this was my first try at such low layerheight. Usually i print 0,15 - 0,25 mm layers…
Oups… sorry… got it wrong… minimum layer time is 10 seconds…
I wonder trying 15 seconds minimum would help with more time to cool between layers.
More cooling - more fans
@Brook_Drumm I’ts ABS, i don’t think that fans will do anything good…
try to change the value of retraction…
