My friend is using this community. Some days back he posted about his product. He posted in Show and Tell section only.
After that onwards, he is unable to see any updates on this community. When he tried to change the ‘Notification settings’ for this community, it is showing as Notifications Off.
When he tried to switch on, it is showing as ‘Error saving settings’. Means, he is unable to connect with the community.

There is no intention for him to spam here. He is a member since last 3 years. Any guidelines for that? We request to add him again.
Posting a video of your product with no context or explanation of why we should care is spam, yes.
What’s his name? This community is not about selling products. If your link goes directly to a buy page, it gets banned, typically.
There are so many spammers who like to replicate content on here as well, and I have to sift through what looks like legitimate and illegitimate content regularly. We are super intolerant of spam in this community. We ban those who are only here to promote a product and not actually BE a part of the community.
It’s not a link bin either. We require that people share a small snippet, or text about what they’re sharing, why it’s of interest, etc. Most people don’t even know about this rule, it’s just something that non-spammers have a tendency to do all on their own without thinking about it in the first place. Usually it’s the spammers who fail to follow this rule and likewise, get banned.
Additionally, having a username like “http://3dprintsonline.com” is more likely to put you in the banned bin. I discriminate highly against even names like “Tech World” but I try and be fair and if it looks like legitimate content I will pull it out of the spam queue and promote the user to an 'always-allow" status.

ok. Agreed. As I told he is there for last 3 years in this community. He has asked some questions as well he as replied to questions of others also. (Not that frequently). His aim is not to spam this community.
He respects the value of this community.
His last post was about a printed spiral vase only. The attached image was his last post.
If you find any issues in this, please let us know. He will not do this in future. He added a video of his 3d printer and shared in this community.
What could have been done in this case? Whether sharing the video is banned or does it require any addition in that?

@Tech_World , he’s able to join the community again. He’s been unbanned. Apologies for the misunderstanding.
I looked through his profile. I think the part that got him banned was the “Our new 300x300x300 3d printer”. Almost definitely a snap judgement by a mod (we get waaaaaaay too much spam and have to move fast)
