That’s a very well written article and covers the subject quite well. It is among the few I’ve read that align with our first hand experiences here at our 3D printing store, where we use about a dozen different materials to build with. Thank you for taking the time to write and post it.
Nice summary. I’m particularly interest in TPU-like materials and would like to know more about the properties of the flexible filaments, especially the shore numbers to match production materials when prototyping.
Rupert, we’ve been building with Ninjaflex for a while now and have had pretty good success and some failures too, pretty much like everything else in Rep Rap style 3D printing.
