My hacked together z stop trigger
This is why I hate opto endstops. They’re always such a hack. Why not just use a mechanical?

@ThantiK The mechanical switches I have have really poor repeatability. When I’m dealing with the nozzle so close to the build platform, I run a lot of risk of just crashing it in or not getting close enough. That mm is too great of variability.
@3roomlab This is an original Makerbot Cupcake, and using the original Z-rod movement. I’ll likely be replacing them asap.
