Yes it is the hc4067, sorry for the mistake. And I don’t use any ldr in this project. I use phototransistors, this is totally different. A phototransistor is basically a transistor, but the collector is not reacting to an electrical current, but reacts to the amount of infrared light.

amazing need one of these for my stair for my disabled kids what the limit of sensors that can be conected please? also can neopixels be used

@dave_windsor neopixel no prob, same code, working fine with fastled lib. By limit of sensor you mean the max number? I used a single multiplexer 16 channels, so 16 for my code. You can tweak it to accept 2 or more multiplexer quite easily.
