My latest 3Dprint. Took 7h to print. Looks great in pearl white PLA.
It looks like it might be somewhat flexible due to its structure. Is this the case or is the PLA still too brittle for that?
Very little flexibility. I thought it would be more flexible but it isn’t.
Seems to me that the material you’re looking for is Thermoplastic Polyurethane or TPU. It’s the stuff a lot of phone cases are made of. Materialise and Shapeways uses it as an option, usually for flexible joints.
Actually I will be testing with Flexible PLA soon. Ultimaker forgot to include it in my latest order.
