I loved this. I just picked an M3D as my first 3d printer.

@Aldon_Hughes nice. A few tips for you to get started.
Use the following guide to get your bed leveled (https://printm3d.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=11458)

Make yourself an external filament holder since the internal method hides your roll so you can’t see what’s going on and it tends to add more friction to the printer.

I found that M3D filament was not as good as other brands like hatchbox.

Use a raft for any models with small bed contact points to or large flat areas.

Watch the printer when it starts since it has oozed a little PLA at the beginning that can cause failure in the print.

Have fun!

@Guillaume_Lavoie Thanks! I did make the spool bracket already from thingiverse. Do you recommend using the blue tape? I’ve found that the PLA really sticks to the bed. I’m afraid of either warping the bed or breaking my print.

@Aldon_Hughes I did not have great results with Blue tape. Mainly the warping would pull up the tape. But other people have said they prefered it.
Its best for the print to be stuck to the http://plate.to avoid warping. To remove the print simply bend the plate a little and then use a spatula to pry it off from there
If you are using the M3D flex filament then definately use blue tape since the buildtack stick too well to the prints. I use the following holder (Customizable spool holder for M3D printer by evandepol - Thingiverse). You can see more results of my prints at this link if you want.
