My mid 2013 Printrbot Simple after a years worth of mods/upgrades. Some printed parts from Thingiverse but most parts of my own design. I stayed with a fishing line drive after calculations showed that the error caused by movement up and down the spool was trivial if assembled optimally.

Very cool! I think you meant to say that the build volume is 315mm x 150mm x 140mm (not 315x15x140). Nice job!
@John_Davis Thanks. 150mm is correct. Tried to fix it with an annotation but it doesn’t always show for some reason.
So a printrbot in the wild, literally. I thought of rj45 for connectors especially for the motors. How did you opt to plug them in. I considered just the solder on connectors but also considered wall mount boxes.
@Michael_Scholtz I used surface mount sockets with printed housings and just soldered wires to them. Several pins paralleled for hotend heater.
This is amazing! Way to improve on an already great product! Great video editing too!
