@shauki Iā€™m not sure, if NEMA 17 have enough torque. Maybe, geared stepper are better. AWMR12 only for X and Y. The Z-axis have standard stainless rods.

my experience with z with belt are horrible need more torque of standard screw. i suggest to max tu use geared nema17 for heavy charge.

@Mauro_Manco I have 2:1 reduction with timing belt. This take double torque on pulley.
