My new y and z axis. Taking shape. Going to have some trouble getting the y axis threaded rod aligned. And I’m having second thoughts about the z axis design. The theory was to limit the lateral give but keep things fairly shallow so there isn’t too much distance between the centre of the y axis and the cutting tool. However now it’s together I’m thinking it has to much wobble and a high chance of binding under cutting pressure.
Well finish putting together and see how it runs. But lots of improvements I can still make.
