PLA object painted with black ABS.
Printed with a Ctc prusa i3 clone. for a few dollars.
I’m testing it on PLA filament but in the near future i will change it to ABS.
I thin k that ABS cooling is good vs bridges parts (but I’m not sure).
What you think about it? You use it?

It might help with bridging in ABS. I never used a cooling fan for any part of ABS printing, because I didn’t have a cooling fan last time I worked with ABS.
Most fans have very little pressure and may not ultimately blow much volume through there. Does it work?
@Matt_Harrington Unfortunately not as expected. I’m making now one with a larger end hole.
A squirrel cage would have a lot more pressure. Maybe it would work better?

Aha yea that search term looks confusing. They are also called blowers and come in standard sizes. Here is an example: https://m.newegg.com/products/9SIAAES4WW2284
Note that the air comes out the edge and that they make a lot of noise but they have much better pressure. People sometimes put little nozzles on the output and just attach it near the extruded tip.
@Matt_Harrington Hello Matt. The blowers you suggest is very good but in my case i bought a lot of low cost 40mm fans an id like to use it for my project. As you suggested my version of blower as a bad efficiency, so i decided to do another improved version with a bigger end hole… and this time it work very well!
