My Printer shall print again!! (Evil laugh here) Now I’m just waiting for my metal Ubis.
I have a similar setup–a PB+ v2. But I have not yet wired up my sensor. I couldn’t find this information on Printrbot.com. How did you wire yours? Did you find a schematic online?
I have a Rev. F board and the sensor just plugs right in. The Firmware is Lassen. My sensor is still not working 100% but it goes to the center and homes there. I’m still working out some kinks.
Hmmm…ok, thanks. I have a Printrboard Rev D. I think the sensor plugs into the Z-end stop somehow. I guess I’ll just have to keep digging…
Did your probe come with the little pcb and power adapter?
No, I self-sourced it (slightly different, but much cheaper) from Amazon:
I hooked it up to an Arduino to test it and make sure it would work (it seems sensitive enough). I’m still a little unsure how Printrbot’s stock sensor is connected, and I’d like to see how they did it before I start guessing. I’m not a complete newb, so I could probably guess right, but I’d still like to see how other people did it before doing so.
