That’s not CoreXY, it’s a cross gantry. Different things.

@Joshua_Taylor ​ nice looking design. But yes @Ryan_Carlyle ​ is correct. This is what is commonly called a cross rod gantry printer not corexy.

@Ryan_Carlyle ​ yes someone put the Ultimaker Eustathios and HercuLien designs under corexy on http://reprap.org a while back (even in the alternative language versions). So I think that’s where some of the confusion people have with the kinematics comes from. http://reprap.org/wiki/CoreXY

Thanks for the info. A few weeks back i made a post asking what it was supposed to be called and best answer i got was “common reprap design” so i stumbled on the term core xy and used it incorrectly. Ill fix my posts.

It will be finished soon and ill repost here. Ive changed to a diferent moint for the hotend and modified my brackets etc. Im reducing the amount of filament to a minimum and will have it all updated after testing the final build.
