My Printrboard on my PrintrBot Simple Metal no longer responds to anything! I tried connecting with Mac, Windows, and RPi. Nothing. Nothing in device manager, can’t reflash the firmware either.
Is it broken?

using micro sd card and autoprint function it this work?
my suggestion change cable and check microusb port on printrboard.
Gotta try that.
Probably, the micro USB input it the problem.
Micro SD card doesn’t work.
It sounds dead. Does the light come on when it is plugged in and powered up?
Yeah. This happened after I installed the Ubis 13 hot end. Apparently, other people had this problem after installing the hot end too.
Would it help to include a picture of my Printrboard setup?
Check this out, it’s like a State Farm commercial or Beattlejuice or something: @Brook_Drumm , Brook Drumm, Brook Drummmmm!
Triple check everything is plugged in right. Send me pics of the connectors you touched on hangouts and I’ll check it with mine.
Awesome, I will. I may try reverting everything back to what it was before I installed the hot end. Also, what Printrboard version do you have?
(I won’t be able to message you now, maybe in about half an hour or so)
Double check that you didn’t put the fan’s ground wire on the wrong pin. The way Printrbot pulls a ground off the ICSP header leaves open the chance of pumping +12v into the micro controller’s reset pin, which is only rated for +5v. The micro controller is likely toasted.
The micro controller for the fan, you mean? If so, that would make a lot of sense…
No, the micro controller is the “brains” of the printrboard. Its what controls the printer, talks to the computer, etc.
