My Printrbot play and simple metals run very well. But I don’t like the procedure of adjusting the distance between the nozzle and the printbed.

Is there a firmware availlable for ref F4 and F5, which allows to set the z compensation via LCD and dial?

Marin supports a feature called babystepping which allows you to adjust the nozzle height while the print is running using the LCD and dial.
