My Printrbot Simple Pro has been chugging away for 74 hours so far printing a dragon goblet that is about 180mm tall. Only 75% finished so far, will be another 24 hours or so until it is done. I can’t believe that this item is going to take a total of about 100 hours before it is finished. I did slice it with the highest level of detail possible, and it is looking fantastic, just did not anticipate the extremely long print time. This will be the longest print I have ever attempted. I am now getting nervous as it approaches the final stages, I hope nothing screws up. Will post a pic of the finished print when it is done.
definitely post some pictures of the results!
Pics or it didn’t happen…
The highest resolution is .05mm… is that what you used? It’s a .3mm nozzle, so there is that. USB printing is faster, btw.
I cloud sliced it, at whatever its best settings are. I am very impressed with the print quality so far.
Good to hear. Making it simple to use does add some wait time… as does pushing the resolution potential a little higher w .3 tip. But it’s still soooo much faster than hand making something or waiting for a print service to print and ship. The time involved in printing has never bothered me at any speed.

Well, it is finally finished! 102 1/2 hours, the longest print I have ever completed. Will post pictures in the morning, as well as a link to the stl file on thingiverse. Have to say, my Printrbot Simple Pro rose to the occasion and managed to produce a great quality print. Thanks for the great printer @Brook_Drumm1
