My PrintRite DIY printer modified yet again to use an all aluminum heatbed arrangement with an excellent benchtop power supply. The Thingiverse mod by brkdwn was extended to allow better handling of the bed corners. My supply puts out 14V at 19A. More than enough for the job. Works perfectly even though I lose about 15mm of Z.
We wants 3d printing full machine if any one interested pls give me rates
You can buy this printer from HobbyKing and there are several printers you can buy from a variety of places. This one has been modified quite a bit so you can’t expect it to be exactly like this coming in.
Pls tell me ur address and contact no
Sorry Bindesh, I don’t know you from Adam so I am not comfortable doing so. You can reach me here for now.
Sir i m from india and wants 3d printer in india
Samer ji which city u belongs
I am on the other side of the planet. Go to http://www.hobbyking.com. That’s where I got the PrintRite. They can drop ship it from their Asian based warehouses.
Ok sir
Do yourself a biiiiiiig favour, if you want this printer to ever be worthwhile, bin the motherboard, ramps1.4 it and swap to a j-head extruder, only then is it truly a worthwhile printer, not baseless opinion btw, you can find mine on thingiverse.
My thingiverse screenie is shawdreamer btw
Yes, I figured
I agree Lee. I am have already printed the JHead stuff from your design, but I want to do a few more things with this as is to prove a point to myself. After that, I am going Smoothie (a mini Remix from Cohesion 3D). I might use one of my spare RAMPS boards or even an MKS, but yeah I am done with closed ecosystems.
cant beat opensource for adaptability, ease of modification, availability community support and probably the most significant… cost lol
Exactly. This is why I am retiring my DaVinci. Apparently my frustrations came through my support ticket and I am getting a support call to try to pry that extruder off.
If your intent on retiring it then there is a specialized tool for removing the extruder… I assume you own a hammer yes?
A very large one, yes. I plan to turn it into a cartesian robot. The written instructions and their video did not make mention that I could lift up the whole printer by the extruder even while I had the release pulled.
thats the mother of all extruder jams lol
Ugh. Worse, the whole assembly is oriented towards the rear of the enclosure, so you can’t see the gear and fan and all that. On most other extruders, I can, in a pinch, see tha the gear wheel is clocked so I can simply use a brush (or my other favorite method, a can of air with a small straw) to clean it.
