My snowflake works! Due to a low budget and a fear of heights i was limited to this amount of lights. Also i cant decorate the yard because my dogs eat everything. Even power cords -_-

That snow flake is front and center and probably ROCKS at night! Great work.

Oh yeah and it runs on a Wemos board so i can change patterns from anywhere. But until i can figure out how i broke arduino i cant make any progress on setting up wireless updates lol

Looks good. Buy beer and bribe others to climb up for next year.

Sierra hill

@Cristian_Martinez So I bought these 1" nylon tube hangers. I didn’t plan on using them in this way but it worked out! They squeeze into the PEX with the LED strips and help keep them tight and in place. These particular ones are “heavy duty” not sure if the other kind would work well too. These were about $9 for 100 I think on Amazon. Take care.

Huh so the strip would go on the flat side facing outwards?

@Cristian_Martinez This wasn’t exactly how I squeezed them in to begin with but should work just as well. The original way was cutting them in half and rolling them up tight…but they were a bear. I was worried I wouldn’t’ have enough.

So yea strip would go nearest you in this image against the flat portion of the strap, leds facing away so they fill the PEX without showing the DOTS as much.

Ah ok that makes more sense now lol
