I use almost default settings on my Printrbot Simple, but I slowed it down a bit as some prints skewed, the bridge actually surprised me as it was way faster moving across than I expected. (I must check settings when I get back home)
The head is printed at 0.25 with layer at 0.3mm
3D Printing has to improve a lot…

Yes, and different machines produce different quality. The material is also a factor in the final result.
