Need some help with a Halloween costume here – my girlfriend (amazingly) suggested we go as Star Wars characters. Ummm…yes!!! So, time is short, and I need to build a couple lightsabers. I have some spare WeMos D1 minis and Arduino Nanos, and a bunch of WS2812 LED strips. I’ve looked a bit and found a lot of builds out there, but they are all fairly involved. I just want some simple light saber code that turns it on and off, and maybe makes a sound when you turn it on. However, I stress that I need simple, because my time to make it is minimal 
I don’t need motion sensor and motion reactive sounds, etc. If it just is the visual effect and an on-off button, that is fine. Can anyone point me in the direction of some good but simple lightsaber code? Thanks in advance!

never got around to adding sound, this 3D printer has consumed all my free time lol
