New build plate
The PEI board was just not flat enough–it had to go!
Installed a mirror from “Bauhaus” which I cut to fit may print bed (I now I won’t get a job as a Glazier). My 350x350x6mm aluminium bed is quite flat, there is maybe 0.1 mm differen over 350mm lenght but that PEI board was bent, even with the clips that fixed it, it was just not flat enough to print large prints. I put some temporary kaptan tape I had to test the new surface and it seems to be much better. Didn’t have time to print a large object, but the cube with 100% infill looks promising. Used cura, 60mm/s, no retraction, 270°C, 0.2mm layer hight, 1st layer 0.25.
Next will be a larger object and I need some larger kaptan tape…
