New delta frame is getting mocked up. What do you all think of the size versus the trusty Frankenbot?

If you’re looking for precision, that’s a bit too big I would say.

@Shai_Schechter Makes a good point.
I once scaled a Prusa mk2 to the 30" Scale,
it proved to be too unstable to print effectively.
so logically we braced the frame. it did little to no good for additional stability. So the project was scrapped. once you pass a certain “Z” height, the movement of “X” becomes intensified, and the entire top will “Wobble” to the point of higher layers distorting Badly.

I have Seen “Delta” style printers be more successful at reaching greater heights than 400-500mm

This one is 1m tall and will have extra braces (2040) as well as full panel sides to insulate and mitigate the flex. If it has too much flex I will for sure cut it down!

You both make excellent points.

Just make the bottom heavy and increase the size of your side panels. I have one at 900mm tall with an actual build space 330mm tall. No issue with wobble.

Its better to have quality over quantity, so stick to the small ones
