New enclosure for one of my TAZ2s. Finishing the other tonight.
Black foam core, acrylic, some angle extrusions, double sided tape, gaffer tape, piano hinge.
Is it yielding different results? What material are you mainly printing?
@John_Pacyga it is eliminating my de-lamination issues. Ill upload a before-after photo. Printing with ABS.
@3dpod_3D_Printing_Se staying at a nice 23-25C at idle with bed at 105
Very nice work @Chris_Vestal - I’m testing my TAZ 1.0 in an enclosure to see if it helps with cracking when doing large prints with ABS. I like the fact that your enclosure looks nice and roomy.
Do you live in a colder climate?

here is a before (L) and after ®. Surprisingly hard to share a G+ photo in comment on G+. Lets see if this works.
why is the cabinet so big?
because I have the room
It was easy to build the enclosure around shelving frame & I have room to rotate the printer around for access if maintenance is needed.
I have sealed it up pretty air tight. The black foam core boards act as insulation. Only major heat loss is when I open the plexiglas door.
